7D__MG_9170_LR1_LRFor those who land here via a search or a recommendation and do not know me personally you would probably like to read more. I am married to Anne have two sons Tyrone and Lynton and proudly South African, Anne and I currently reside in Mooketsi an agricultural area in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Mooketsi is approximately 85km from Polokwane and 50km from Tzaneen a sub-tropical region well known for agriculture.

As stated my photography is a hobby which has developed over a number of years, I was actually out of it for a number of years prior to the digital era as the economics of film development forced me to quit.

The photography yearn was always there and in 2005  I jumped at the opportunity to start again in the digital era and purchased a Nikon 8800 camera. The camera limitations soon got to me and a DSLR was essential and made the move in 2007. A Canon 30D with 17-85mm kit lens was purchased and I added a Canon 70-200 f2.8 L (Non IS) with 1.4 II extender to the arsenal.

February 2012 saw the first equipment additions added to my bag in the form of a Canon 7D with a Efs 10-22mm lens. Subsequent sales and acquisitions have taken place and my current kit consists of:

Bodies – Canon 6D | Canon 7D MarkII

Lenses – EF 400mm f5.6 | 70-200mm f2.8 (Non IS) | EF 24-105mm f4 | Efs 10-22mm
